We have countless happy customers, here''s comments from one lady
"I had my Cedar chalet beside the sea done in Textrol two years ago and it still looks fabulous. It was previously treated with another finish that peeled which I had stripped of, & I''m delighted with the way the Textrol turned out" Mrs West Ballina.
Before and After

Here you will see a building with cedar cladding.
Picture on the left shows how it looked before any treatment, faded & dried out.
First it was cleaned with Net-Trol to remove the fading look and later treated with two coats of Textrol Clear (right picture) to retain that fresh, natural look.
Coverage:
First treatment... 5 square meters per litre per two coats.
Maintenance, or Top up coats... 10 square meters per litre (one coat)
For feet/yards folk 5 square meters is ABOUT 50 sq ft or 6 square yards

Drying times: Walk on - Once absorbed into the wood. Full dry 24 - 48 hours.
Sizes & colours:
Clear
This is the nearest you will find anywhere to a completely Natural look.
Looks like wood after a shower of rain. 1ltr, 5ltr, 20ltr
Golden Oak
A little shade darker than Clear - lovely on Cedar 1ltr, 5ltr & 20ltr
Rustic Oak
A little shade darker than Golden Oak - lovely on grooved pressure treated decking etc, 1ltr, 5ltr & 20ltr
NOTE: Golden & Rustic Oak shades usually last about 20% longer than the Clear
because they contain more pigment. Keep in mind that both Golden & Rustic Oak
will lighten somewhat after a few months. If your primary need is a longer lasting finish and you don''t mind it being a bit darker initially, choose one of the Oaks.
Application: Brush, roller, garden sprayer, low pressure HVLP or airless spray.
TIP:
When applying Textrol by spray, always back-brush or back-roll to ensure
uniform penetration and appearance. Apply Textrol to ribbed decking using an
inexpensive 6" paste brush and extension pole makes application that much
easier and is easier on your back! Don''t allow to ''pond'' in between grooves.
Why choosing Quality is a Smarter Buy in the long run
Textrol is a lot more expensive than some of the ''decking oils'' you will find in your local hardware or DIY store.
As the old saying goes... you get what you pay for!
Textrol contains premium ingredients and has penetrating properties not found in any other competitive product.
Textrol will NOT peel or flake.
Textrol does not need to be sanded off for a recoat
Textrol will last up to 2 to 3 years or Four or Five times longer than cheap oils which will require recoating a lot sooner meaning you have all that work to do all over again and again.
So your €45 / 5l can of cheaper oil would need to be repurchased AND Re-Applied about 5 times (€150) to maintain a lesser effect in that same time frame
A 5l can of Textrol will only cost you €109 or a real saving of 30%
PLUS you don''t have to do all that hard work every year or in some cases every few months.
Textrol is recommended by Architects, Decking installers, Designers.
Save yourself a lot of hard work and money, choose Textrol.
Order Textrol here today and it will be delivered to your door inside 3 to 5 working days.
IF your decking etc is Faded but not previously oiled clean first with Net-trol
IF your decking etc is Faded, Peeling etc & WAS previously oiled Clean first with Prepdeck
If your decking etc was treated with something and is in a bad way, such as peeling, flaking, patchy etc, we recommend you do the job right & get rid of all that first by stripping with Prepdeck, a very powerful stripper / cleaner. See separate webpage on this site.
If you need to use Prepdeck, and you intend to treat later with Textrol, you need to neutralise the wood with diluted Net-Trol (4:1) immediately after rinsing off the prepdeck.
